“Lay Your Weary Head To Rest…”

That is one tired pony.

Obviously, today’s header is from the band Kansas, from “Carry on Wayward Son.”

I was so tired on the last Friday of school, leading into Spring Break, that I didn’t finish this. It’s an unusual kind of exhaustion that I don’t typically have at this time of year, and a bit confusing. It could just be that I’m getting older, and don’t have the endurance for a full school schedule that I used to.

This year’s pony that I haul to school and back every day, is starting to look that tired, to be honest. School Time Pony has a demanding schedule, and need to have hair brushing more often, and other maintenance to stay okay. Cleaning is key. Thankfully, she only has a few more weeks to go, and then she can retire, and hang out with Zebra Pony, and GI Pony.

Friday was a minimum day, and after school, the Very Serious Magic Players met in my room to do a “Booster Draft” tournament. There were eight of us, and the format went super efficiently. We drafted, built, and played three rounds in a three hour time frame. A good time was had by all, and we are planning to do it again when the new set of cards is released. I came in third, while the two seniors who organized the even with me came in first and second place.

It was a nice way to end the Minimum Day of school, and lead into Spring Break.
