The Mystery Of The Laminated Supermodels!

Cap is coming in for a really awkward three point super landing…! Even that cat is scared.

So…what’s going on here?

That’s a good question, and I can’t go into too much detail about the circumstances that brought it about. Suffice it to say that in the last twenty four hours, I got called in by a friend to help get to the bottom of a situation that made little to no sense. At the end of the day, it was just my organizational skills and computer skills that helped to straighten things out, which was good. In the short term, it seemed as crazy and nonsensical as Catwoman somehow capturing and laminating a bunch of swimsuit models, and keeping them in some weird collection.

As in, not the kind of thing that would go unnoticed, or that you should be able to get away with. At all.

Thankfully, unlike the art, the whole thing was a misunderstanding, and no heinous crimes were committed. With that said, there is a definite plus side to methodically going through every single thing, until you are left with the only possibility that can be true. Jumping to conclusions that fit the facts is something that we all do, a whole lot, and can get out of hand quickly.

I’m not sure how Cap solves this problem, really. I mean, in the art. I mean, she doesn’t have any powers that would un-laminate those swimsuit models. What happens if she just breaks the plastic? Are they CGC graded? I don’t see a sticker with a “near mint” or 9.8 on any of them. Sure, Cap can beat up Catwoman easily, but this is very much a “what the @#$% now?” kind of thing.

Beating up Catwoman doesn’t solve the problem.

As a random note, if there are a whole lot more laminated supermodels, you could set them up in a sort of massive plastic Jenga, and play a really disturbing Super-Jenga. Just saying.

Perhaps Catwoman’s plan is to ruin the world economy by removing supermodels from activity. That in turn would grind advertising to a halt, and without advertising, sales slows down. If sales slows down, the liquidity of the economy goes down, and in turn values of stocks and products diminish. I don’t really understand how the @#$% that helps Catwoman, but it seems more sensible than Super-Jenga of CGC grading.
